Spring 2012 groupThanks to everyone who attended our 2012 spring retreat. What an awesome group of people! From the very beginning, there was a special anointing on our spring 2012 retreat. Friday evening's worship time was highlighted by Madison leading us in Jason Upton's song, Freedom Reigns. It was a powerful time of worship, which set the stage for an amazing weekend in God's presence. We enjoyed beautiful weather, great fellowship, awesome meals, and of course, the sweet presence of the Holy Spirit as He led us in the silence.

Read the words below and let them sink in. The freedom God offers us is complete: freedom from sin, freedom from condemnation, freedom from striving. If the Son has set you free, you are free indeed!

Freedom Reigns

Where the spirit of the Lord is
There is freedom
Where the spirit of the Lord is
There is freedom

If you're tired and you are thirsty
There is freedom
If you're tired and you are thirsty
There is freedom

Freedom reigns in this place
Showers of mercy and grace
Falling on ev'ry face
There is freedom

Where the spirit of the Lord is
There is freedom
Where the spirit of the Lord is
There is freedom

We lift our eyes to Jesus
There is freedom
We lift our eyes to Jesus
There is freedom

Freedom reigns in this place
Showers of mercy and grace
Falling on ev'ry face
There is freedom

Jesus reigns in this place
Showers of mercy and grace
Falling on ev'ry face
There is freedom

Thanks to everyone who attended our spring retreat. The combination of God's spirit and your wonderful personalities made for a glorious weekend. Oh, and BTW, we already have about a dozen people registered for the Fall. You might want to get your name in now!

It's a freedom so astounding, its substantial. That freedom has given me the solidarity to go on in the midst of uncertainty. We get so hung up on standards and guidelines and as Christians, we can get so judgmental of others and of ourselves, yet when you've tasted opportunity, from you see that His adoration rises above principles and assignment help companies guidelines and judgment. God, I acclaim You for that freedom!
